The neighborhood is complemented by 2 heated swimming pools, 2 tennis courts, a 600-foot private fishing pier on the river, a private beach and riverside park, and a 36-slip marina (Peppertree Pointe Marina at Waters Edge) that can accommodate boats up to 26 feet in length. There is also trailer storage, a boat launching ramp, and 15-minute direct access to the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico and Sanibel and Captiva Islands via the Caloosahatchee River. The community has monthly dinner parties on the waterfront, open to all homeowners, which is great for getting to know your neighbors. 
 
There are 7 distinct neighborhoods in Water's Edge Fort Myers, which include single-family homes, villa homes, and mid-rise condominiums. There is a master homeowners association that maintains all common areas such as the pools, tennis courts, marina, pier, and riverfront park. Each of the 7 neighborhoods has a homeowners or condominium association and each pays dues to the master association. The master homeowners association owns and operates a marina and collects rents for slip leases and dry storage space in the marina. Homeowners of the Water's Edge and Peppertree Pointe communities may lease slips in the marina and use recreational facilities within Water's Edge.
